1. CPCL (A GROUP COMPANY OF IOCL) WIND FARM IN TAMILNADU

ITCOT had prepared the Detailed Project Report and Tender Specification for a 17 MW Wind Farm Project to be set up at Puspathur, Dindigul District in Tamil Nadu. The objective of the project is to generate cheaper source of energy, which could power the 5 MLD Desalination Plant proposed by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) in Ennore near Chennai.
 
The Wind Farm is proposed to generate 42 Million Units per annum with an investment of Rs.85 Crores, and will comprise of 22 Wind Energy Generators (WEG) of 800 KW each of Enercon Make. The farm was inaugurated in July 2007. This is the first major Wind Farm Project implemented by an Oil Company in the Public Sector.
2. SUGAR COMPLEX OF EMPEE SUGARS AND CHEMICALS LIMITED, CHENNAI
ITCOT was appointed as the Lenders Engineer by IOB led consortium of Banks in May 2009 to provide periodical monitoring services of the Sugar Complex being set up by the prestigious Empee Group, Chennai at Edaikkal Village, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu.
 
The facility comprised of 5000 TCD Sugar Plant expandable to 8000 TCD,    50 MW Cogen power Plant and 100 KLPD Distillery Plant with an investment of Rs.515 Crores. This is the first Lenders Engineer Study undertaken by ITCOT, which included monthly visits to the project site to monitor the physical progress, expenditure incurred, inventory, delays if any, time scheduling of the project and such other. Cogen and Sugar Plant was commissioned in May 2010 while the Distillery Project is under commissioning.
3. MARKET SURVEY FOR DUCTILE IRON PIPES IN INDIA FOR KUBOTO CORPORATION, JAPAN
An all India market survey for Kuboto Corporation, one of the leading corporates of Japan, was undertaken in 2006.  The coverage included collection of classified information on the Regional and State wise demand of Ductile Iron Pipes especially for drinking water distribution with the contact points mainly comprising of Government Departments.

The study covered the demand supply gap in the country, existing players, market preferences, pricing pattern, and logistics, and also identified suitable capacity to set up a manufacture base in the country. Following the survey, Kuboto Corporation, Japan joined their hands with M/s.Tata Metaliks Limited to set up a Joint Venture company to produce Ductile Iron Pipes at Kharagpur in West Bengal with an investment of USD 40 Million and the Plant was commissioned in 2009.
